This is me, now.
After taking a brief sabbatical, I secured some creative consulting work under NDA with my current employer [redacted], working directly with the creator of a long-running AAA video game franchise, with the view to writing and pitching a treatment for a television series based on their IP.
This led to securing a contract to work directly with that very same IP as Narrative Designer and Game Writer, whilst at the same time progressing a series treatment, production pitch, and looking to secure a showrunner.
Aside from this, I am also working, again under NDA, with [redacted], a smaller indie studio, to potentially write a screenplay based on their sci-fi IP, too.
I have two completed and released feature films, as co-executive producer, working with the award-winning director Marc Zammit. We are already exploring a third based on a treatment I’ve written.
In 2026, I will be writing a fantasy story for a well-known tabletop franchise and also volunteering on the Starfield mod project, Star Wars Genesis, to rewrite characters, quests, and branching narratives.
On a personal level, I’ve taken on Trustee and Non-Executive Director positions at companies with specific interests close to my heart, and mentor games industry professionals through Limit Break.
It’s been a busy time, and I feel I’ve not only just gotten started in this new direction but also have a lot more I can take on.

Limit Break is a mentorship program aimed at marginalised people working in the UK games industry.
Star Wars Genesis (Volunteer) 04/2026 –
Star Wars Genesis is a massive, free, fan-made total conversion project for Bethesda’s Starfield. I’m currently contributing to the new lore, rewriting characters and side quests, creating new branching narrative and dialogue options, and NPC barks.
Fate and Fortune CIC (Non-Exec Advisor) 03/2026 –
Non-Exec advisory and board governance duties for a company providing a safe space for Dungeons & Dragons and other roleplaying games within the community of Yarmouth, UK, with a particular focus on wellbeing and support.
The Ecology Centre (Trustee) 03/2026 –
Trustee advisory and board governance duties for an inclusive, community-led environmental charity in Scotland with an award-winning education programme.

Commissioned to write fantasy fiction and lore for a well-known tabletop franchise.

Creation and maintenance of the internal lore bible. Production of in-game text and narrative arcs, voice-over scripts and barks/ NPC dialogue, all working with established tone, style and lore to maintain consistency. Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure the game’s storytelling aligns with the broader creative vision, while adhering to technical constraints, localisation requirements and costs. Supporting new features and game store releases with narrative gameplay.

Consulting on transmedia opportunities for an established video game IP. Created a series bible, season one treatment, and television studio pitch documents to turn a well-known AAA IP into a television series. Pitched and secured publishing interest for a ‘Making of’ title based on the same game with a UK publisher.
